The Gardens by the Bay is a nature park spanning 101 hectares (250 acres) in the Central Region of Singapore, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden (in Marina South), Bay East Garden (in Marina East) and Bay Central Garden (in Downtown Core and Kallang). The largest of the gardens is the Bay South Garden at 54 hectares (130 acres) designed by Grant Associates. Its Flower Dome is the largest glass greenhouse in the world.
Gardens by the Bay was part of the nation's plans to transform its "Garden City" to a "City in a Garden", with the aim of raising the quality of life by enhancing greenery and flora in the city. First announced by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at Singapore's National Day Rally in 2005, Gardens by the Bay was intended to be Singapore's premier urban outdoor recreation space and a national icon.

Must-see! Absolutely fantastic experience, and it’s free! I’d recommend this to anyone visiting Singapore for a short or long visit. We also caught a Spring Festival performance for Chinese New Year which was wonderful. You can buy beer at the nearby food court and take it out for enjoy while watching the light show at 8:45pm.

Love the space as always. My young boy can run freely while meeting new friends there. Enjoy the big trees. Enjoy sitting under. Enjoy the time. Have to walk a bit from entrance of Garden by the Bay. Restaurant is available, never tried before. Toilets are nearby too. It will be crowded during weekends but not packed

One amazing place in Singapore.. the gardens by the bay is really a great creation and attraction. Lovely collection of trees plants and flowers. In the center is the super tree grove, which stands out as a great landscape. It has a lovely restaurant on the top a skywalk and lots a place around for events. This also holds a sound and light show in the evening which is spectacular.

Wonderful experience, superb design. They are 16 to 18 in number of various length, tallest measuring to almost like 20 stories building. Some connected to sky walk for which you pay separately for beautiful view of Gardens and Marina Bay Sands area. Night view is different with miraculous light displays. You can climb the canopy of one of the tallest super tree and can witness light and sound show. Remember to buy ticket for the sky walk before 8pm.

Great area inside of Gardens By The Bay. Every night at 7.45 and 8.45 there is a nice light show that is worth watching. We have been there a couple of times including for two shows and it was always a great atmosphere. You can walk there quite easily via the bridge that comes from the Marina Bay Sands hotel. When you are there you can also visit the Flower Dome which is very nice as well.

Superb to visit ... The most amazing evening in Singapore. T Gardens by the Bay consists of 2 dome structures, Cloud Forest & Flower Dome. The cloud forest is massive with an indoor waterfall and many kinds of plants. The flower dome is awesome with all kinds of flowers. But the main highlight is the light & sound show in the evening. Awestruck by the show, choreographed to perfection. You will have the best evening ever.

During the day its impressive to see these super trees. I could walk and relax there for hours. In the night time there is light show that absolutely will take your breath away. I tried to capture with my camera but that doesn't record the overwhelming sensation. It's for free. Do like other people do and just lay on the floor and look up. It's so mesmerizing. It gave me goosebumps. We had a long layover at the airport, this place easy reachable with the subway.

Super Tree Grove has gigantic artificially made trees. It's basically a bunch of creepers which have been bound around an iron mast. A light show occurs at around 7:30 and 8:30PM in which the trees light up and change colors to the beats of the ear soothing music. It's a very colorful show. There's a walkway for which the tickets can be bought. The walkway offers spectacular views of the city with particular landmarks such as Marina Sands Bay, Singapore flyer and the sea. It's a must visit.

It's air conditioned environment. Great for photo taking without having a sweat. But it's always packed with crowds, especially on weekends. Managed to catch the Sakura exhibitions! Do come early to queue or buy tickets online! It's way much faster. Just remember to provide a valid email as your ticket will be sent to your email.

Very beautiful manmade trees! If you are a first time visitor to Singapore, you must definitely drop by to see these trees, they are gorgeous and unlike other man made stuff on earth. If it is possible, be sure to visit it after 7pm, when the super tree illumination will light up to give you a breathless spectacle. You won’t regret coming here!

If you visit Singapore, this place should not be missed. A plethora of light and sound effects which mesmerizes you at all points of the show. It can be visited all the time and does not require any tickets to enjoy the attraction. Located at the back side of Marina Bay Sands Hotel & with Cloud Forest and Flower Dome as attractions nearby it is a must visit. The show is for 15minutes and starts around 8pm in the evening but you have to occupy seats much in advance. You can lie on the ground under the trees to have a spectacular watch of the light and sound show. People all over the world come to visit the attraction...oh one more thing I need to share. Its a free show..so enjoy!

Cheap fun! The views are amazing and worth the $8 Singapore dollars. You will want to get there before 19:00 if you don't want to wait in line to get up for sunset. Also, don't let them tell you the best place to watch the light show is from the rooftop bar in the big middle tree. It's not! You can't see anything from up there (but the sunset view from there is spectacular!). I would recommend a drink at sunset from the rooftop lounge and then head down for either the 19:45 or 20:45 light show.

I don't usually give five stars, but visiting these super trees is one of the most incredible things I've done! Watching the towering trees across the grove shine lights is phenomenal. If you really want to get in on the action, buy a ticket to the bridge that connects them. If you don't want to pay, sit underneath them but get there early as the seating fills up quickly. If you want to avoid the crowds, watch from the other side of the dragonfly pond, you can see the trees but can only hear they music they are coordinated with quietly. It all depends on where you want to view from, but absolutely go!

These giant man-made trees look incredible stretching up and adding to the skyline of Singapore. I have only seen them during the day but I believe at night they become a dazzling light covered display. If you are in Singapore, even just a short time, you should take a look at these huge structures and the surrounding gardens.

Surprisingly impressive how they manage to irrigate and take care of this breath-taking and gigantic trees! Feeling like I was lost in an actually forest! I love the fact that they charge zero dollars to vist this area. You only have to pay a little bit extra in order to get on top of the trees for a better view :)

Spectacular experience outside the hustle and bustle of busy downtown singapore. The flora inside was truly beautiful and gave a misty yet refreshing atmosphere. The gigantic water fall in the cloud garden was a spectacle of its own. The lookout in midst the water fall was breath taking. Definitely a must visit if you're holidaying in Singapore.

It's a good place to go to. I recommend to go BOTH in the day and at night. The beauty is different during day and a different feel and beauty at night. It gets really crowded during light and music show, everyday at 7:45pm and 8:45pm. I recommend to stay a few minutes later after each show to avoid the crowds using the lift (on the walkway towards MBS).
