When you have a long transit hours... its best to explore city bus sightseeing rather spending time in the airport. Good experience take through major places in the city. Friendly drivers. Recorded tour guide -earphones- available.
It's a normal city sightseeing. Tickets are available for 24, 48 o 72 hours and it includes all the routes. The buses are a bit old and the frequency is every 20 minutes. The audio guide could be improved with more interesting explanations. Drivers are very useful and gentle.
A decent enough tour and the driver was very helpful. Unfortunately the pre recorded commentary was fairly lacking, I did another tour a few months ago and they had much more information in the history of the places you were travelling through.
Having waited for 15 minutes in the heat at the nearest bus stop to our hotel with our ticket purchased online, we were told by the driver that he couldn't accept our ticket as it needed to be valified at their ticket office in Suntec Mall. We had to walk across the city to do this and attived a sweaty mess. It isn't rocket science for City Sightseeing to either send a ticket in response to an online booking or make the barcode on the thing they send scannable by the driver. We won't be using them again, and I guess the other two couples caught in the same trap won't either.
We even couldn't start our tour, as we are not able to print our tickets. We are tourists (no printer) and even as a citizen, printing tickets is not common anymore. Besides the staff was very unfriendly. We took Uber then, even that was cheaper to get around.
Nicely captures the parts of city sightseeing through various routes. If 1days pass is not sufficient can opt for 2 days pass as well. Works perfectly in acessing places of interest.
