Love this place. If you want a quiet beach without the crowds this is idyllic. It is also great starting point to walk/cycle along the coast.
This is a good place to while away a few hours as you meander along the many pathways that span this peaceful and tranquil nature reserve. There is ample car parking available and there is a new visitors centre that offers a good range of food and refreshments.
A very peaceful place to visit. Very good walks to various hides. The new centre has a very friendly cafe. Prices are reasonable. The views from the roof are superb.
This area has a very modern design visitors centre which includes a cafe, a roof terrace and outdoor seating. There is easy access to the beach, but not really easy for wheelchair users. The views across the Wash to the Norfolk coast line are amazing if you're lucky enough to get a haze free day. I would have given a better rating for the visitors centre but for some obscure reason it closes at 16:00 so no refreshments if you get back from exploring the whole area later then 16:00 - madness in the summer months with light nights. Nearly forgot - the car parking is PAY & DISPLAY its not expensive but a bloody nuisance if you've no small change
Lovely place for a walk along the beach and through the dunes. Be aware dogs are not allowed on the beaches between May and September.
nice new centre. great viewing deck and the produce was locally sourced which is great to see and because of that the food was delicious points to develop, some information boards on the viewing deck for more interaction and I was surprised there was no one pushing Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust to the visitors. overall we all enjoyed it (2 adults and 2 children)
Had a wonderful day out with my brother. Saw birds and other wildlife. The walk by the sea is breath taking. A place to go again.
A beautiful beach, deserted and a great escape from the crowds at Skegness. Lots of natural beauty, a fairly long walk for anyone with mobility problems, but if your fit and able to walk, it's well worth the trek to the beach. There's lots of wildlife to see, lots of bird life and I'd recommend taking binoculars if you have any.
Lovely walks, good bird hides, good for children to be out and about. Visitor centre clean tidy and well presented, staff helpful, food choices snack/light lunch options and tasty. Toilets were clean. Parking ticket is valid for both car parks.
The perfect place to get in touch with nature. The visitor centre is accessible to all and you can take in the amazing views over lunch or tea. Love it!
Lovely if you enjoy solitude. Great place for spotting rare birds. Nice cafe and visitors centre. Take in the wildness of the Wash
Beautiful place! Enjoyed the walk along the beach. Very nice Visitor center and food. We will be back! 👍
Wonderful place for all the family. Scenery, paths, beach and a Visitor Centre. Two car parks costing £1 for 2 hours or £3 all day and the tickets are valid for both. Can be a bit breezy as you are at sea level and the walks from carpark to beach are each about a quarter of a mile but it's worth it. One word of warning: to get here you have to drive through Skegness town centre.
Gibraltar point is just south of Skegness and is one of the best places to see migratory birds on the east coast. There is a good car park and a nice cafe and toilets on site. There are a number of way tracked paths around the site aĺlowing you to quickly escape the buzz in the car park. Well placed hides allow you watch the birds.
Fantastic spot. Some lovely walking paths, lots of helpful maps, wheelchair friendly. They've done great things in getting this place to what it is, a shining example of what a nature reserve could be! Café is lovely, food is good and reasonably priced, with a mini shop inside. Well worth a visit.
Very good place for a walk and get away from life for a hour or 2 as well watch the wildlife or let kids run off there energy plenty of room for all and it all free. There's a visitor centre with Coffee and tea and light snacks including roof top viewings area car parking charges are very good we was there in February 2018 1 pound 2 hour or 3 pound for the day see you
