Hard to miss as it is directly in the center of Skopje. Nice place to get some travel photos and also a prime meet up point. Definitely a must see while traveling through Skopje, although I think you'd have to try pretty hard NOT to see it! Best in the warmer months when the fountains are on.

Welce to the land of make-believe.
If you want to see the real history of Macedonia you need to go to Greece where Alexander the Great was born.Go to Agaia and Pella the true Macedonia.You will actually get to see ancient statues and Greek inscriptions actually written by the true Greek-Macedonian. The tomb of Philip is amazing and no question that the Macedonians were a Greek speaking tribe.No need to erect modern statues here. Skopia square is like Disneylands land of make-believe.

Lovely square with impressive statues and fountains all over. Very central and easily accessible from different directions. Lots of attractions and museums are close by. Nicer and more lively at night then during daytime. Lots of restaurants to choose from... Beggars can be found here asking for money, but didn't have any issues. Felt really safe.

This is the place for which Skopje is famous for. Located exactly in the centre of the city, this place is surrounded by statues and museums.
