La place de Macédoine (en macédonien Плоштад Македонија) est la place centrale de Skopje, la capitale de la Macédoine du Nord. Elle couvre 18 500 m2, ce qui en fait la plus vaste place du pays.
La place de Macédoine se trouve sur la berge sud du Vardar et elle est orientée sur un axe sud-ouest, en direction du mont Vodno qui surplombe la ville. La plupart des rues du centre-ville rejoignent la place, mais elle est interdite à la circulation. Au sud, elle est prolongée par la rue de Macédoine, qui est la principale artère piétonne de Skopje. Au nord, elle s'ouvre sur le Pont de pierre, qui permet de rejoindre la rive nord du Vardar et le Vieux bazar.

One of my most favorite places to be! Lots to see. Been here many times. The most wonderful coffee places along the river. Beautiful statues EVERYWHERE! Old part of Skopje is must see. I've had pizza in Rome, New York and Chicago, good but Skopje has the BEST! (((Be aware of the children and women with babies begging, lots of them and they are persistent! Not some big issue though.)))

Wonderful place, statues of all sizes are on display here. You can wonder through all the briges from here or just sit and enjoy the atmosphere. There is lots of places, where you can drink, eat or just chill

What a beautifull city .... all the roads and ways are in marble and granite .... statues are in bronze manly the one of alexander the great .... most of the buildings have their facade in marble .... really the city is built on a very high quality and i was really impressed ..... i like to come back to Skopje another time fore sure to enjoy the walk, the restaurants and also the nightlife 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Very nice place to see. It was completly damaged and rebuilt after the earth-quake but it looks amazing and historical.

I love how history meets modern with the preservation of the statues, buildings, the city gate and so on. The city is easy to walk through and it is really is an enjoyable way to experience Skopje

One of the most amazing sights in Scopje! Although the square is not enormous, its open space and sorrounding buildings give us the sensation of immensity, with Alexander The Great crowning the beauty of the place.
