Awesome place.Extraordinary theatre with stunning decor. Beyond the 'pretty building', the productions I've seen here have been superb, with innovative use made of the space, including breaking down of traditional audience and performer spaces. It's a great location that attracts very high quality international actors.A great theatre. What they put on here is top quality. I've day seated here before and the view from the front row is excellent without straining your neck. I've also sat at the back of the dress circle. It's quite far up and can feel a bit distant from the action but the sight lines are good.

Beautiful park full of people. There are lot of benches where you can rest. There are also some few cafes or stanbys where you can order some refreshing drinks. You have an option to register in local small library and borrow a book to read. Really nice place where to spend your time.

A beautiful building with extraordinary architecture and very good really professional staff inside - some of the best Bulgarian actors and performances which deserve to be seen. As a start of the Theater is considered 1901, when an order for establishing a theater group was issued and the construction of the building began at 1903. The building was burnt in 1923 and reconstructed at the end of the 20's of the 20th century. The last reconstruction of the National Theater was in 1971-73.
