The Statue of Sveta Sofia (Bulgarian: Статуя на Света София, romanized: Statuya na Sveta Sofiya) is a monumental sculpture in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The statue, erected in 2000, stands in a spot once occupied by a statue of Lenin.

I have seen much more impressive monuments and statues in Bulgaria only. Nonetheless, it became a symbol of Sofia, so it's worth seeing :).

A must in town. You simply cannot miss it. It is only a pity that this pwc building has to be next to it... Kind of spoil the whole picture. But still a very nice picture :)
