The Hayling College (formerly The Hayling School) is a coeducational foundation secondary school, located on Hayling Island in the English county of Hampshire.
Been going here since I was a kid. Love the place. It's never really over crowded, Ocean is nice and clean. Carpark is right next to the beach. Lovely.
This is a great place to stay. Fantastic facilities and great staff
Love Hayling Island we stay at Warners, they have 2 places on the island. Not a lot to do on the Island in winter but lovely in the summer plus the whole island is spotlessly clean.
I live on Hayling about a 5 minuet walk from the beach and me and my family love it. Only annoying thing is in the summer it is a pain to get on and off the island but apart from that what a lovely place we live in and lovely beaches to sit on and take the children to play 😊
Remote area on south coast with miles of shingly beach lapped by the English Channel. Nice pub by the ferry across to Portsmouth peninsula. Bit like going back in time by 30 years make it a popular place to get away from it all.
A great little place to visit and explore. The beaches are often crowded near the parking places. There are a small number of traditional amusements and rides, excellent fishing spots and a range of water sports activities available. I've never camped here, but facilities are available and seem popular and well maintained. It's got a great unique vibe all of its own as a place, being a close proximity island accessible via a toll free short bridge. Definitely worth a visit, though be aware that it can get quite busy during summer months.
Lovely place huge beach plenty of parking though it gets busy in summer
A beautiful place to stay ( weather permitting ). My only reservation is that owing to the narrow streets & lack of pavemented area children need to be very seriously supervised at all times.
What can I say, born and raised here so have to give it 5 stars. Beaches are lovely in the summer and busy if it's hot. The island has a funfair that again is busy in the summer. Beaches are clean unless there's been a storm, mainly stone beaches however there's are the odd spots where it's not an issue. I would highly recommended when getting to the beach walk along the beach a little for the best quiet spots. To many people drive up and park, then just walk down to the beach front. Hence all carparks are busy and the beaches around them are very busy. Not what it used to be... but still a nice place..
We love Hayling ! Have been coming here all our lives ! It's a lovely place to visit or live & the people are very honest, in general, so much so that years ago, they got rid of the Police Station here ! It's now a Post Office / Royal Mail Sorting Office ?! They just have a Base there now at the back of the local library !
