Thoroughly enjoyed our walk around the model village, you can see that there is an awful lot of work that goes into looking after the attraction. Everywhere is clean and tidy the buildings all very good and whoever designs and places the 'people' has a good sense of humour, we found some of them quite funny. Well worth a visit.

This is an amazing place. The whole village in miniature. The attention to detail is quite astonishing. Takes only about 30 minutes to go around. It’s a great relaxing little ponder. Even if you have kids they have a few fun challenges to do as you go around. When you get your ticket, it stays valid for a few months and you can return as many times as you like for free.

My daughter (2 1/2) and I have visited twice now and she loves it. It's slightly surreal seeing your home town in miniature! The model village is beautifully detailed and well maintained. There is a train track, which my small one can stand and watch for ages- much to my annoyance as I couldn't wait to see what new miniature wonders were just around the corner. Fortunately you can go round and round again and the ticket price even includes a free return visit (can't remember if the return is for the next week only, so check that out) which was great as it was all my daughter talked about for the next few days! -And it's very reasonably priced to start with. There are some really cute little details, like the model village inside the model village inside the model village (seriously!) and some strange cargo on one of the train carriages, so keep your eyes peeled! I highly recommend checking this super cute place out!

This model village is really excellent with some very realistic isle of Wight buildings, streets and locations. Look out for all the real trees and shrubs which have been kept miniaturised to create realistic natural settings for the models. Even if you're not interested in the models the extensive garden alone is wonderful and peaceful for anyone to enjoy. Refreshments are available with tables and chairs in the garden but these are not undercover. However, there are rain shelters around the garden in case of showers. This attraction is suitable for people of all ages and has a free 'find the hidden red squirrels' quest for everyone to do during your visit, no pen or paper required! If you haven't been to this attraction before, then I would really recommend you give it a go because it is a really nice unexpected little surprise.

Great little place to visit with the family and well priced. A family ticket for 2 adults with 2/3 children is only £16. The village itself is very well maintained and a good size. It probably takes about an hour to get around and there are activity sheets for children to do, with places and hidden items to look out for. Has a decent gift shop at the end which is very cheap compared to most places. Would recommend it for a family. Plenty of good places to go to eat nearby too.

Visited as a child. Continues to be a brilliant model village. Wedding at the church, cricket, archery, boules, scouts camping, farmers, thatched roofs, shops, even g scale trains. Something for everyone to see. Lovely!

I came here with my parents & baby sister years ago. This was a nostalgic visit but I remembered some of the village & was impressed with how clean & up to date the models were. A lot of care is taken here.

Has a good charm once you're in there. It is good for what it is but when you've been once there's no pull factor to come back again. Small children and elderly people seem to really enjoy it but not a lot (unless particularly interested in models) for the invetween ages. Although it has its down factors it really is a must see. If you don't visit you will regret.

A wonderful place to visit, such an awesome model village, with so many little bits to notice, every day life in miniature. The price was great and dogs can go for free. There is a lovely little cafe and a place for kids to play. A great family trip out.

Largely unchanged since I visited as a child. The gardens are well maintained and there is a gentle humour to the models and settings. Good for younger children, but I imagine wouldn't hold much attention for the typical 10 year old.

Loved it! A superbly kept attraction. Fascinating and loads to look at. Great way to spend a few hours xx

Had a nice day out with the elderly in laws and equally as cool for the young ones too. It's fairly priced I think and there's toilets near the exit with a little gift shop. Recommend it to anybody visiting IoW. Other gifts shops around the area. Parking is further up the road and free with dirty public toilets. I'd say leave about 2 hours for the visit. An hour to carefully look at the model village (can be done in 15 minutes if you are quick) and an hour to browse all the shops around the area.

Should not miss this in isle of wight. brilliant display of miniature townships and the overall architecture of certain towns. Particularly enjoyed the minature train station. There was a small cafe at the end for light refreshments as well. Also you are allowed reentry within 7 days of purchase of ticket.

We found the model village to be great value for money. The effort from build to design is much appreciated. The ongoing upkeep is also really noticeable. Take a picnic and sit on the grass at the end, very family friendly.

Beautiful place to visit for a day! Situated in the lovely village of Godshill. The models are so well made and the attention to detail is second to none. Lots of fun to be had for all the family, young and old. Well worth a visit!

I was surprised just how good this place was. Lots to see and the detail is fantastic. My 3 year old loved it, particularly the train track. Not too expensive either and staff are very friendly.

Wonderful attraction, really sweet and lovely. You only need 30-40 minutes (with kids) plus a stop at the coffee shop. The train and the village within a village are great fun. If you are taking kids, not essential, make sure you pickup the quiz and set them loose. Best on a sunny day, but nice in all weathers. The big free car park over the road is very useful and Godshill has lots of pubs and cafes to pop to for lunch or dinner afterwards. Recommended.
