Great family day out if you like it a bit cheesy. Lots to do in the surrounding areas as well. We took our 5 year old son, and he loved it
Great value for money. The park was very clean and the staff seemed happy and enthusiastic. There was a good range of rides for children and adults. 4 stars given as there is no refund if you have spare money on your card (eg. I had £1 leftover but no rides cost 1 token so it would have been a pound wasted.)
The size of the fair has reduced since last year and my son was disappointed at this as the rides he loves were gone. Its much cleaner and the rides better spaced than it was a few years ago but for 1 child it costs alot to have a day on the rides. For several children will cost a small fortune. It's OK for a day out and the beach is across the road. Don't go in the rain, it's miserable and many rides will be closed.
We took our 9 year old today. We have not been for a year or two as last time she was too small for the big rides and too big for the small rides . Today she went on everything she wanted. For a public fun fair this place today was exceptionally clean and tidy.so nice to see. Not even a sweet wrapper floating about. Staff on all the rides she and us went on were so friendly and engaging which is also such a nice thing as usually at places it's like ....next ...next ...well done to all the hard working staff and cleaners. Lovely day out and wow a public set of toilets that each and every cubical was spotless .keep up the good work x
Many fun and exciting rides. Joyful atmosphere. Many fun stalls for younger kids or people who don't like rides. There's a bar in a 'castle' for the parents to go and chill out. I'd say the down side is the amount of people that go compared to the size of the park as it is always busy.
Great day out, suitable for younger children. No queuing for rides. Easy to use pleasure card that you can top up as you go and top up with a card not just cash. The area looked a little dated and needs a coat of paint but younger two children loved it.
This place is awesome not just for kids but great for adults aswell so much to do and see. The pier us good at one end u have a cafe and can see Blackpool on the other side. The other end of the pier lots of amusements boat rides and lovely pub to drink from.
Kids loved it and an excellent variety of rides. Liked the new payment system of charging up a card with credits and then using the credits on each ride. Ride prices are about £1-3 per ride so good value!
Doing more for Southport. Going above and beyond in many ways! The park is great for families and young teens! I love the landscape which has created shape and colour. However would like to see small and frequent steps to add (or) improve on rides! It's what we join you for!
Good rides kids loved it. Don't queue for tickets go to the back of the park and pay using automated machines takes five minutes instead of an hour☺️
Been here a couple of times. The kids love it. Happy kids = happy parents. Only let down is the ques for recharging your ride pass
Good price for parking caravan for a weekend. Tight at times as it is also a car park. Close to all amenities.
Bit pricey. You have to top up your ' pleasure land card' with your money and I used a credit card because I put on more than a fiver. The rides are decent, more like fake sorta rides. Good day out with the kids.
Some half decent rides for younger kids. Very expensive, as most under 5s cannot ride alone due to height restrictions and each rider pays between 2 and 4 tokens. At £1 per token, a ride for two small kids accompanied by an adult can set you back almost £10! Yes, £10 for the hungry Caterpillar!! Would be fairly priced at 1 token (£1) per ride.
