Not a lot left of what once would have been a very impressive building, but the remains are well cared for and the information boards give a good explanation of its history. Probably not worth making a special trip for, unless you're an abbey ruins completist, but if you're in the area it's definitely worth dropping in. As well as the abbey ruins themselves, take some time to look inside the adjacent Hailes church. It's a gorgeous little building that is well worth a visit in itself.

Sadly much of this fine abbey has either fallen down or destroyed during the dissolution of the monastries and the period following. The atmosphere of this tranquil part of the Cotswolds is still very much in evidence. The newly opened museum helps you understand how the place was built and developed into an important Cistercian site.

Remains of 13th century cistercian abbey. Its a beautiful and peaceful location with clear signs explaining what you are seeing and what life would have been like for those living there. Interesting little museum on site with more information and artifacts.

Very interesting site although I think nearly £6 each is a bit steep. That said the museum is good a the stone carvings recovered are as good as you'll find anywhere.

Deads belong to NT but run and funded by English Heritage. A realy good little museum and an extra outside covered area showing the wall and bits that have survived. Easy to follow audio guide free to EH members £1 to NT members. All located in beautiful silent surroundings, the EH young lady in charge was a great help and gave us a very warm welcome. Worth a visit. 18/07/2018

Belongs to English Heritage and The National trust. Disappointed that when we showed our national trust cards we were told where to get in. We walked around looking at all of the signage and found it had reference numbers on it. Other visitors who paid had been given a pretty recorded hand set with information on so if you visit make sure you ask for a handset.
