Good hotel downtown, but can be very, very noisy! This is an excellent middle class hotel close to the Central Station and the Arlanda Express. Two blocks from Drottninggatan and about 10-15 mins walk from Gamla Stan. Breakfast is very good, staff are very friendly and competent BUT and this is a big but: the rooms to the back of the hotel are very noisy due to the courtyard that is used by the services. The semicircular construction amplifies the noise. Bottles being dumped by the bars around midnight, laundry trolleys screeching over the cobbles at 4 am or binmen reversing into the courtyard with loud beeping noises at 6 is normal. Sleeping with open windows impossible. A pity, because otherwise it’s a good hotel. Tip: ask for a room to the inner courtyard.
Best breakfast in Stockholm, bit small rooms, still super clean and modern. Minus one star for misteriosuly disappearing part of a luggage left in reception.
