This is a great park summer and winter alike. Some time ago, the government gave a chunk of it away to royalties who decades ago decided they didn't want to pay for the maintenance (possibly to make it extra clear that actions only have consequences for some). The result isn't as bad as it could have been, though: there is still free access to the water all along the waterfront.

Great experience - just walked through the park and visited all the nice places that one of the former Kings has built. Perfect for having a quiet walk away from the noises and the trouble of the city.

Great park for summer picnic, great park for winter slide. You can even walk or ice skate when the lake is frozen towards Universitetet.

I visited Fjärilshuset. Its a beautiful place to visit where you can see lots of different fishes and butterflies. In addition they got a big fish tank with sharks.

Beautiful park with lots of different trees, flowers, nd other plants. If you are lucky you will spot some wild animals feeding here and there. Great spot for a picnic or a walk on a sunny day. Be sure to visit all the different attractions that are available for free.

This is a nice, big, photogenic park. I didn't walk around the whole area, but it seemed huge. There is a nice area of water right at the entrance and I enjoyed this, as it's very photogenic. This place is quite a walk from the centre of Stockholm and perhaps won't appeal to every tourist, but I enjoyed it very much.

Nature and history! Some areas are almost wild. Several historical buildings and ruins. Nice walking and cycling areas. Very interesting Papillon House.

Beautiful park with stunning views and alot of history. We went in the spring but I imagine it's would be a beautiful place to visit year round! Would recommend visiting the royal burial ground, well, looking at the island.
