Stockholm (; Swedish: [²stɔkː(h)ɔlm] ( listen)) is the capital of Sweden and the most populous city in the Nordic countries; 952,058 people live in the municipality, approximately 1.5 million in the urban area, and 2.3 million in the metropolitan area. The city stretches across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. Just outside the city and along the coast is the island chain of the Stockholm archipelago. The area has been settled since the Stone Age, in the 6th millennium BC, and was founded as a city in 1252 by Swedish statesman Birger Jarl. It is also the capital of Stockholm County.

We asked for unmissable places to visit in Stockholm but someone just told us three places to see, whereas there are a lot of wonderful places and activities to do in Stockholm, that we finally found by ourselves.
A very comfy and stylish place to eat. I had the reindeer meatballs with mashed potatoes and it was very delicious! The beer was ice cold and very tasty. The prices were ok and the stuff was very friendly. Definitely coming back again!
We will NEVER come to Sweden because it is no longer safe!
Very helpful and conveniently located
A very nice visitors centre with helpful staff who speak English, Swedish and a host of other languages. I would recommend it as a great place for directions or recommendations.
Utmärkt ställe för turister att få information om allt man kan göra i Stockholm. Excellent place for tourists to get information about fun things to do in Stockholm. Highly recommended!
