Clarks Village is an outlet shopping village in Street, Somerset, England. It was established in 1993 on the site of old C&J Clark factory buildings.
In the 19th century Cyrus Clark started a business in sheepskin rugs, later joined by his brother James, who introduced the production of woollen slippers, and later, boots and shoes. However, shoes are no longer manufactured there.

Sometimes a bit overcrowded but highly recommended. Very good assortment of shops and can get a decent deal. There is a next outlet which has very good prices but unfortunately does not have a fitting room so you need to be certain of your size. Good thing is they have no issues with returned items (where is the logic?). You also get a lots of "home", sport, cosmetic, shoes shops. Overall very good shopping centre which me and my family go to over and over again. Car park is decent and convenient but occasionally you may struggle to find a space. I really like Thursday's late night shopping.

Beautiful place and kids usually have a lot of fun. Lot of shops offer discounts and it's pretty easy to lose your way. There are many entry and exits but you will absolutely love it.

Very ideal for choice of stores. Good deals depending on what takes your fancy. However if you are relying on public transport, make sure you get there early as the buses tend to be infrequent from 4pm. It would be nice to have more choices of eating places. Preferably, either centrally or at each end of the stretch.

Has improved of late. It got a bit 'tired' for a while. Updated and more choice. Staff in stores we visited were excellent. Not too crowded but plenty of people there and plenty of parking

Great selection of shops and factory outlets for you to look around, loads of choice and great food options as well. Many big brands and some real bargains to be had. Great in all weathers as most of the walkways are covered. Good aesthetics too and it is always clean and tidy with well managed gardens and flower arrangements. Some distractions for children, but it is definitely a retail environment and can become tiresome to small kids very quickly. Other than that loads of parking, always spaces in the 3 huge parking lots, and depending on where you park, great rates too.

Love! This is an excellent outlet mall. It compares favourably to some of the American ones. The shops are full of good bargains and it is a pretty village like setting. There are loads of places to eat here from coffee shops to restaurants to vans. A lot of the big names are here and some high end too. It's always fun to wander around looking to grab a huge bargain. There are some fabulous cosmetic shops.......... Oh, and Cadbury's too!

Pros: my wife likes it here and she's convinced it saves her money by buying things at the outlet stores rather than paying full price in city centres. Interesting layout with the buildings clad in local stone. Plenty of coffee shops for me to hide in and use the WiFi whilst my wife spends. Cons: car parking isn't cheap and the car parks don't have the widest car parking spaces. Also it can get very busy here.

The Clarks Village Outlet centre in Street, Nr Glastonbury has a fantastic number of shops for all your needs, ages and all sizes. A fantastic day out if you like shopping...with many bargains to be had in all shops. I love shopping there. Plenty of coffee shops/areas with lovely cake, but if you want a full meal lots of restaurants in the area.

I really like it here. I like the outdoor spaces and the variety of shops. There are a few places to eat and plenty of places to rest. There's everything here you need. The facilities are always clean and the shopping centre is well kept and tidy.
