Svetlogorsk (Russian: Светлого́рск svyeet-lah-GOHRSK, German: Rauschen) is a city in Russia's Kaliningrad Oblast. It was a seaside resort during the Soviet era. It has a beachfront promenade which is usually very busy in the summertime.
Less than 10 trains per day run in each direction between Svetlogorsk and Kaliningrad. They depart from Kaliningrad Passajirsk and call at Kaliningrad Severnyi next to Victory Square. There's an especially large gap in the morning to reach Svetlogorsk, as there is a train at 07:42 and then only at 13:00. See the website of the Russian Railways for the most up-to-date info.
