Great spot to relax a little with many unique outdoor pieces in a massive garden. Don't miss all of the small paths which show off all the cool plants and flowers. There's a small path that is quite narrow with a ton of stairs that takes you to a 2 story viewing platform which gives great views of the city. The physical residence is also a nice place to visit however it's not very big and doesn't take too long. It has weird hours and doesn't allow pictures.
This is a nice place to visit to know a little bit more about Taiwanese history. It was the place where Chiang Kai She and his wife lived, and has big and beautiful gardens to relax, and take pictures. It is free to go to the gardens but you have to pay to go into the house, approx 200 NTS . It is a nice visit, be aware that inside the house all the history is written in Chinese, there is no English translation but you can have a recording to explain you in the language you need.
The recent Tulip exhibition (Feb 2018) is decidedly NOT worth going to, but the rest of the gardens and residence are wonderful on a nice day. Try to go during off-peak hours (you can check how busy it is on Google Maps).
There many fine details about the power couple weren't recorded in history text book can be learned. Worth a visit.
Interesting building. There are Mrs Chiang's car also to be seen. Garden is colorful, never seen so many flowers.
The new tulips attraction was ok you can also see bees pollinating the plant. Too many people when we go there so a little bit hard to take a good angle for photos.. The little market that selling seeds and bulb is good
Free Entrance until the Residence Entry lile a Museum. We didnt enter as its quite late when we reach there. Just by walking around the Garden surrounding the Father of Taiwan Residence is superb eye opening view. Well manicured plant and Old Trees. Except Rise Garden in End Mar is not blooming. Must visit his Residence in next visit to Taiwan. Great Visit.
Really pretty flowers and area to walk around. If you are out looking for a nice easy stroll with a pretty nature walk, this is a great place to check out.
Their gardens are awesome. But I didn't enjoy that much 'coz while we were roaming around the Madagascar themed garden it rained and we haven't took many pictures also because it's too crowded. I'm not sure what day or time is good to visit this place except when it rainy days Because foreigners and locals love this place.
