Taipei (臺北) is a railway station in Taipei, Taiwan served by TRA, Taiwan High Speed Rail and Taipei Metro. The station is a major hub, handling over half a million passengers daily on conventional rail, metro, and high-speed rail. By number of travelers (approximately 213 million per year), it is the 25th busiest station in the world and the busiest outside Japan in Asia.

They are very fast and efficient. Just wish I could get the yoyo card here

Huge place. Make sure to avail the Taiwan Fun Pass to save you on your transportations and some attractions!
Taipei main station is largest central station. you get all transportation: MRT + Airport mono railway + High speed railway and regular trains + BUSES to all over country. this is multi-level complex with food court. Q-Square mall and large underground mall provides shopping experience
The official TRA website is terrible. A lot of information on the website is wrong, outdated, and misleading.
