I simply love this little temple! The entrance does not look all that impressive, but I decided to just quickly peek inside, and I’m so glad that I did! It opens up to a lovely courtyard. This temple is cozy and serene, and not touristy. I also loved that it was tucked away right in the middle of the busy streets of Ximen right outside. Worth stopping by, if you are in the area.

This is a nice small temple where we went while waiting for our table at Watch BBQ. The temple has some beautiful pillars and a beautiful ceiling with red lamps. Its a very local temple if you walk by just pop in and have a quick look. There are much bigger and nicer temples in Taipei.

A serene and religious place to visit. Like it very much. Pay TW50 dollars for joss sticks and a round of prayers around the temple

very old and interesting temple to visit. one of the only one that is at Ximen station. rich history as well. ximen station is known for youngster/hipster area, while taipei tianhuo temple is like a old and new contrast.

Outside is super chaotic. Inside, rich and peaceful. A great little history in the middle of a modern urban jungle. People take their prayers seriously so respect and discretion while you're taking pics. Beautiful, intricate shrines absolutely worth seeing in this trendy area
