I came here to climb the spire and it was worth it in my opinion. You would be hard pressed to find a better view of the Old Town then from the top of the Church. It is a strenuous and very very steep climb to the top up centuries old stone stairs. Not good for anyone with leg problems who low stamina!

The st. Olaf’s church is believed to have been built in the 12th century. From 1944 until 1991, the Soviet KGB used Oleviste's spire as a radio tower and surveillance point. If you want to go to the top you need to pay, and frankly is not worth it.

More than 230 old, uneven and windy steps up the spire so be prepared to work a few leg muscles. It's an amazing view of Tallinn that is gorgeous on a clear day. Would definitely recommend it for €3. ** kids over 5 should do the climb comfortably. Our kids loved it.

Great view from tower. A little bit scary for somebody to go upstairs - not so much place for you and people from up going down - but the view is cool

The view of old town is great from the top. Few euros and a lot of climb and you would be on top. Beware: there are no lifts inside, so you have to walk. But the view on top is amazing and worth the climb.

The church itself in nothing special, but the view from the tower is unmissable. The admission was 3 Euro if I remember correctly and worth every cent.

it is one of the place to see Tallin from above. When going down, don't believe the rope since it is very loose. Hold the pole instead.

Очень красивое место, не дорогой билет для того что бы подняться на шпиль церкви (рекомендую так как вид на старый город будет очень красивый) I will recommend to visit this place, cheap tickets. Really beautiful view opens if you will decide to go on rooftop ( old town) They offer student discounts as well. The small minus fpr this place only stairs. Middle aged stairs you will have to climb i think 300m. No lift. There is quite few benches to chill.

What's good Old baroque houses, grand cathedrals, pebbled streets, Tallinn Old Town is a world in itself. What's not good Mostly walk. Internet in Estonia is freaking costly. Beware before using. What to do Enjoy the walk up the Toompea hill. Some churches allow staircase to top from where view is surreal.

Wonderful view from the tower. Be aware that there are more than 258 steps of a spiral staircase to go to the top and it is a bit narrow. Even though, it is worth it.

Going up the tower is not for the faint of heart it is hard work but it really pays off. Very nice view of the city once you are up there.
