I totally had a great time climbing around the walls of this fortress and absorbing the neat views. The church was beautiful as well. I'd definitely recommend reading up on the history before coming to add to the experience. A definite "to see" of you're in the city.

Tbilisi is a great tourist destination. It is recommended to all who are following my reviews. It's a safe place and very tourist friendly. On arrival and no visa for most of the countries.

Very old and preserved fortress. Muat go up there with the cable car and enjoy the beautiful view of the city as well as the "mother of Georgia" statue.

Take the cable to the Fortress. There is a rich history of kings and monks behind the fortress. Must visit.

With the exception of enjoying the view which.....is by the way very beautiful....I don't think there much to do. Despite that its a nice place to hangout.

Great sightseeing place. With amazing city views.

Nice view of the city, but little to explore. It's more beautiful from outside. At the bottom entrance there are stairs that lead to Botanical Gardens. Those are fabulous, don't miss!

The fortress of Narikala dominates over Tbilisi. This place offers a great view over the Georgian capital. Getting there is a little bit hard. But it is rewarding. Also, you will see the new church of Saint Nicholaus. There used to be an old church but it was destroyed by fire later to be rebuilt. Must-see place if you are in Tbilisi!

Well worth the journey. You get a fantastic view of the city. Plus to get above the pollution which is very nice. You don't realize how bad the smog/pollution is until you get out of it. Very nice to see history protected and presevered. Georgia appears to honor their past which can't be said about every country. I recommend making the trip and exploring.

A must for those who love all things medieval. Tremendous view of the city on one side and the hills of the botanical garden on the other.

This is an awesome hike! And the views are beautiful. Also the history is also beautiful.

Quite cool catsle on a hill. Negative side, there are only ruins, no information about the castle, no interactive demos. A good place for a evening walk

Very awesome. The old and the new in this country flow so we'll together. It's amazing to see suck history and the old traditions if the Orthodox church just adds so much gravity to the sites. Very very cool

Great views - good to go once in the daytime to explore the ruins of the fort (wear sturdy shoes and expect to climb up parts of fallen walls for the best views) and once at night for views over the city

Absolutely breathtaking and incredible to see such history in this beautiful part of Tiblisi. Definitely worth a visit.
Alain Demblonjul. 8, 2018
Sometimes it is even enough to get to Narikala and understand what this city about. If you have a little time to visit Tbilisi, this place is a must. I suggest to take a ropeway and visit it twice - in a daylight and late evening - totally different views and feelings.
Wowo Manipulationsjul. 28, 2018
A beautiful view of Tblisi from here. Some parts are a bit challenging to climb - and there are no guard rails - so just be aware of your limits. A nice escape from the city.
Allison Magesjul. 27, 2018
A must view point to conquer! Be brave and walk there!!! Its worth the ride. Along the way you find others treasures... cable car is for loosers or acceptable if a person has any physical limitations.
Paulo Costajul. 22, 2018
Must visit. One of the tourist attractions. Good view. You can go up there from Rike Park for 2.5lari by cable car. And then go down.
