Though I was going to be underwhelmed. Most impressive collection of French Impressionism. Multiple cafe options for coffee, snacks, sandwiches. COMPLIMENTARY listening tour available! Very relaxing and educational. Very well organized as it was interesting to compare artistic design side-by-side.

It is a fairly large building with a bit of an odd layout. I'm glad I saw the special exhibit and their usual collection, but it is really a one and done visit. The permanent collection is nice, but you can see and appreciate it all in one visit. The audio guide is free, you just leave your I'd with them and retrieve it when you return the audio device. Definitely recommend the audio guide.

The exhibitions was not a hit, the paintings are shown by collection and not ordered chronology, which can be a bit confusing. If you are not a big fan of modern art, you better pass. There were almost nothing that is not that expressive new style modern paintings in which the whole canvas is just a colorful mess. The library, on the other hand, was full of books and very nice and pleasant. I would return the museum someday, but only to visit the library. I wouldn't waste my time again at the exhibitions.

Amazing modern place with good exhibitions and programs for families and children. Only can recommend. We had a very great time.

I only really enjoyed a few of the exhibitions but of course art preference is subjective. There is a large variety of styles so everybody can find something they like. However, the museum layout is unfortunately quite confusing, so finding what you want is a struggle, and the audio guide is limited to several exhibitions only.

Enjoyed our visit. This is a world class institution. We went on Shabbat and it was open but quiet. A good time to enjoy the art. Some of the best collections of modern art and Jewish art in the world. Marc Chagall is highly represented. Some interesting interactive displays as well.

Impressive collection of impressionist art and art from the first half of the twentieth century. Representative collection of Israeli art as well. Definitely worth a visit.

This is a beautiful museum designed with lots of light and interesting angles as well as dark areas suitable for video presentations. There's a very pleasant outdoor sculpture garden with cafe. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy the art nearly so much but it might appeal more to those who like the more modern.

Very nice museum and a stunning architecture. The contemporary Art from local and international artists were my highlights. Hint for parents: it’s really child friendly, never saw this before at such a place!

Went to the new building for the first time. The space is well designed. The Art, well... Is great. I especially liked the various video art exhibitions.

I liked the new building. The collections are ok, nothing special. There was some areas closed. The indications are not very clear. In general the I spent a good time there.

If you've been to other art museums in the US or other major international cities you'll be highly disappointed in this one. I looked through pictures I took from my visit to Tel Aviv and realized I didn't take a single picture from the museum so that'll kind of tell you how large their collection is. There's 2 parts to the museum, the newer part which contains the more modern art and the old main section that holds older pieces donated by collectors. It's about 1 hour to see the whole museum and only probably worth visiting if you have nothing to do on sabbath.

Very nice collection of impressionists and contemporary arts. Forbidden Music opened a part of the history that I haven't been aware of. The Clock is very inspiring project.

Loved the architecture of the new building - both the interior and exterior surfaces! The entrance fee is quite expensive but you should give it a try, you won't be disappointed after all. It offers a big amount of art exhibitions, contemporary, modern, a little controversial, classical, impressionist paintings and so on.. Be sure to have a few hours - I would suggest giving it a five hour break as it is massively huge! You have art everywhere around you, in basements, gardens, roofs, windows, ceilings! ACTUALLY EVERYWHERE! Can't you tell that I freaking love the place!? I surely can! Highly recommended for architecture freaks - like myself - art enthusiasts, people with a lot of money - if you wish to give it a try to the restaurant outside (in the inner garden), families with children - the multicoloured surfaces can be an exciting thing for the humans of the future and so on! Please, go give it a try, you won't regret it! P.S. In Israel, culture is something fundamental! Can you please lower the prices of the museums? It cost me a fortune to visit most of them!

An amazing art site! Very impressive! Later edit: today, June 25 2018 I've arrived here - a personal dream comes true! The institution has two buildings, one new, very fluid and one old, somehow classical. I've discovered there a lot of treasure - from impressionism and post-impressionism to modernism and postmodernism, some very important authors (from Degas to Miro and from Gauguin to Calder) and absolutely awesome collection of art more than beautiful! You have to visit also the outdoor spaces where you may see artworks Moore, as an example!

Interesting complex at the midst of the city. Whether you’re entering from the Main Wing or the new metallic complex, ensure you explore the museum thoroughly. It does close quite early in the day, so do plan your day carefully.

Mainly contemporary and modern art with an interesting impressionist collection. Nice coverage of Israeli art movements over the 20th century. Hall space and arrangements are pleasant. The museum is small and can be visited in 2-3 hours.

Really nice museum which is suitable for most ages. The entry fee for people older than 18 is 50 shekels and for under 18 it's free. The museum is big and has a lot of different displays so I recommend staying for a long time.
