Honestly, I was expecting something different - cool sounding concept and one of the things I was most excited about in Tirana. Definitely don't go if you've got problems with musty places or claustrophobia, not worth it. Mostly informational, nothing in the way of art as the name suggests. Talked a lot of the secret police and had some dioramas with some info boards and some movies but it did very little tie in why I was looking at that stuff in a bunker and didn't utilize the space well. Also, pretty expensive by Albanian standards

A very interesting museum of the recent history of Albania, built within an underground bunker and structured over several rooms connected by corridors. It might seem a bit claustrophobic but it is definitely worthwhile. We spent maybe half an hour to an hour but to explore each room you probably need more. It's an exceptional testimony of the communist period in Albania and how things were just a few decades ago.

This place is a must visit, it shows you what the Albanians have been through during the Soviet Union. After getting out you just thank god those times are over. Hope the best for the Albanians ❤️🇦🇱

History of the rise and fall off communism in Albania. Interesting, relevant but quite worrying. The way everything is displayed is boring. The name is misleading, there is no art.

Tons of information about the Communist era. Not sure why it is called Bunk'Art 2. There is no art here, just history. We didn't get to Bunk'Art 1, unfortunately. This is good, just not what we expected.

If an exhibition leaves a mark, helps bring an understanding to the people of the country it is significant. This exhibition falls into this category bringing light to how Albania was cut off from the rest of the world by the people in power. The bunker is organised into a claustrophobic set of corridors and rooms. The history of the police and gendarmes are articulated from the early to late 20th Century. Bare with the initial rooms that give more background to later ones. The morphing of the police onto a citizen spying agency is shocking. It seems everyone was scrutinised, their lives blocked off from the rest of the world. People who were deemed enemies of the state went missing. Records of some of them are displayed. An education, humans can still be monsters in modern times.

A very good place to spend couple hours. The ticket is for 500 lek. Give you a summary about Albania history with the communism
