Ben Nevis ( NEV-iss; Scottish Gaelic: Beinn Nibheis Scottish Gaelic pronunciation: [pe(ɲ) ˈɲivɪʃ]) is the highest mountain in Scotland, the United Kingdom and the British Isles. The summit is 4,411 feet (1,345 m) above sea level and is the highest land in any direction for 459 miles (739 kilometres). Ben Nevis stands at the western end of the Grampian Mountains in the Highland region of Lochaber, close to the town of Fort William.
The mountain is a popular destination, attracting an estimated 130,000 ascents a year, around three-quarters of which use the Mountain Track from Glen Nevis. The 700-metre (2,300 ft) cliffs of the north face are among the highest in Scotland, providing classic scrambles and rock climbs of all difficulties for climbers and mountaineers. They are also the principal locations in Scotland for ice climbing.
Amazing, wonderful views. Very tough walk up and down. Don't be fooled into thinking this is easy. Well worth it though and a real challenge to be satisfied with completing. Nice chatting to people on the way up and down

A spectacular place to see, really good hiking place, the route pretty straight forward for the 1st 1000km the last 345km can be difficult if the weather turns but just give yourself enough time, I average it in around 7.5hours up and down to the top with a few breaks, the scenic view was amazing, highly recommended for everyone, parking at the bottom is £4 all day, toilet facilities available up to 5pm

An amazing experience but the walk up Ben Nevis is tough! The views from the top are jaw dropping! Be warned, it's very cold at the top and the snow is pretty deep for the last mile of the walk (I walked in mid May). A great days adventure, and don't give up! Getting to the top is so rewarding. I ached for a couple of days after, but it was really worth it. :)

Fantastic walk and views up Ben Nevis. It is a challenging walk that will take over 5 hours and you need to be well prepared before you go. The visitor centre closes at 15.00 which means when you get back the facilities and toilets are closed when you most need them ☹️

How could this wonderful mountain ever be anything but a five star experience? The magnificent bulk and scale of Ben Nevis allow it a massively assertive presence. The summit plateau has a genuinely alpine feel with huge snow cornices projecting out over plunging cliff walls. All to the good, now let's talk about the mountain track. This will allow anyone to make their way to the summit and on a busy day it is a densely populated pilgrimage route to the summit, so don't expect mountain solitude here. There are plenty of other ways to the top, so don't get too uptight about the stream of humanity flowing upward and try the CMD arrete instead😃

Absolutely excellent lovely every minute of climbing Ben Nevis. Completed as part of the 3 peaks challenge this was by far my most enjoyable maintain. Be sure to wear the proper foot wear and take care as it can be very cold on top of the mountains.

The view was spectacular and the mountains surrounding the area look amazing but my feet kill and I hurt everywhere. I wouldn't personally do it again but I would encourage others to do it as it is really worth doing. But overall 5 stars

Perfect day! Lovely weather today! Crystal clear. The vision up here is astonishing! Definitely worth the effort to climb up to the top! ;) You can even have a little snowball fight! :D

It's a very long and arduous walk often with clouds preventing a good view... Lovely location though, especially if you drive along the road through Glencoe
