Kamerlengo (Kaštel Kamerlengo) is a castle and fortress in Trogir, Croatia.
The castle was built in the mid-15th century by Marin Radoj as part of an expansion of the Veriga Tower, built on the site in the late 14th century. It is used as a location for performances during the summer months. The word kamerlengo (Italian: camerlengo) refers to the title of an administrative official (a chamberlain).
Nice little fort. Provides a really good view of Trogir from the very and top and the lower level walls. There isn't much to see in the fort, in fact there's nothing, but the view is worth it. People have complained about the entry price but it works out at less than £3 a person and we pay more for less in the UK.

That's quite comprehensive why this fortress was built on the corner as a solid base at this small island. Like most of fortress form - square mass. Today it is surrounded by several business stands and become a market place. How wonder the history can be changed by human!

Beautiful area, lovely temperature often and a sea breeze. There are lovely yachts to look at as well. Surrounded by restaurants and bars, it's a vibrant yet chilled place. If you're visiting somewhere like Split and want a day out to experience something else then this is your answer.....

Nice place to visit, not a lot to see inside but the views of the surrounding area are amazing. Only cost £3 to get in though.

Worth a visit. Not expensive to enter but a bit more could be done to enhance the experience. Fabulous views across the bay and Trogier. Worth a visit. Recommended

Good views of Trogir. There's not much to see within the building and very little information but it's worth going up the tower to look out across the town. It's more or less a metal ladder to get to the very top of the tower so best avoided if you have any issues with mobility.

Impressive fortress from 15th century. Top class stone workmanship particularly over the upper doorways given the weight of the structure. Wooden stairs leading up to the battlements. Impressive views of the town and port. Nothing remains internally, bottom floor open to the stars. Beautiful build however. It must have been quite an imposing structure for invading armies to encounter. Beautiful views from the walls.

A great piece of history to walk around. You can go to the top and view is amazing. Be advised that if it's busy you will have to wait a while to go up and down.

Old heritage, especially interesting for the amazing view of the village of Trogir. A bit too much commercial however judging from the ‘door ladies’, but worth a visit when in Trogir
