Great place, lots to do for all ages.
Usually easy to get reservations for courts etc, numerous clubs run from here including external club meets and training. Reception staff are usually great, pool is lovely although can get full quickly. Changing rooms let it down a bit - sometimes dodgy lockers and some of the doors on the rooms don't have locks but perfectly usable just check before you use! Badminton, trampolining, football, triathlon training, squash etc etc all available for any age.
Excellent staff always friendly and helpful
Came here to watch a triathlon. The centre has seen better days and changing areas is in need of alot of attention. Rusting doors on toilets/changing areas and dirty tiles on floor not from the amount of people using the area type of dirt that's in the edges and not great. Staff where friendly and helpful and the pool was nice and excellent for the swim part of the triathlon.. Even seating area to watch if wanted. The carpark was a good size too.
Well scheduled timetable for various amounts of activities such as swimming and badminton.
Good swimming pool can feel slightly colder good size changing cubicles.
Good facilities, if a little dated in places
Average as for a community Sport centre. We mostly use a swimming facilities there. Our son learns swimming. I think they did a great work on him over past 2 years as he progressed from zero to level 4.
I go because my kids have swimming lessons. The whole place is way too hot, hardly anywhere to sit outside of the pool if you want to get away from the heat. Staff are friendly but some of the swimming teachers hold your kids back when you know that they are able to move up. One of the teachers used to "forget to mark the lesson" or "forget the notebook"
