oh, so much history! FRom 3 towers this one has the best view on the city, this one is the strongest one, comparing to Torres de Quart this one is more resistant. This was the main gate to the city, the royal gate, just for kings and important people! Every Sunday you have to see each tower for free until 14.30. Nice to know, isn't?

Get into this huge door and remember the ancient times of Valencia as the capital of the Valencian Kingdom. This is a nice place to either start or finish your trip around the city center. It has proper lights at night and serves as a remind of the former wall that surrounded the city. Check the flag on top of the tower and see how proud are people from Valencia of their city. This is a must seen place.

Beautiful place for sightseeing. One of two old doors left from old walls of Valencia (Valencia had it 12 doors back in the times). You have to buy ticket to enter.

It's a small tower with free entrance. Some stairs are really dangerous, if you look down you may fall off the tower. Nice floor windows to check you sfincter integrity))) And a nice view on all directions in the center of the city.

This are the old gates of the city. You can visit the monument for 2€ and enjoy a nice view of the old Turia riverbed and the old town. Part of the structure has transparent parts in the floor so you can walk over it and see the street below you.

Free on bank holidays. A nice place for a stroll. Great views from the top.

I thought it was amazing that access was free!!!! It was nice and busy, beautiful views from the top. I felt the handrails were a bit low and unsteady.

Really nice place that sets the limit of the old city. The only problem is that it's almost never possible to go up to see the old city from the top.
Filip Kraguljmar. 20, 2018
Fantastic old tower marking boundary of old city. Well maintained. If you want to visit, it will cost you €2 for the privilege. Be wary of steep steps and low ceilings. Views from the top are impressive. If photographing tower from inside city, be careful of vehicles who use square as a cut through.

Impressive old gate did not walk up so cannot comment. But i wod guess the views over Valencia are impressive. Its at the end of a great cafe and bar lined street. So have a coffee and enjoy the view

Valencia is probably the best city I have ever been to it's got a race track ,old town ,new town airport, three beaches, bull ring, a river bed that runs through the city that has converted into a central icon fantastic place can't wait to go back

Northern old gate of the old city of Valencia. The gate was build in XIV century. Two octogonal towers flanck this door that faces the Turia River (now a park) and the Serrans bridge. Just majestic

Majestic tower of the past. It is sad to see that there is so little left of its history. What made my visit fun and worthwhile was my tour guide Luis of Guatemala origin. It was said that this gate once protected the city from many sieges from afar. The remains of the moat also showed that people put a lot of thoughts in protecting this city. No public restroom in the area. I did not go up in the tower.

It looks very nice. The entrance fee is just two euro. The view from the towers is nice but not super impressive.

Beautiful gate and a back drop for great photos. We were on a Segway tour. Loved it and our guides

An impressive, massive gate house in the old city walls. Well worth the 2 euros to go in if only for the great views it gives of Valencia. In the square at the base of the tower there is a good cafe/bar to refresh you after the exertions of your climb. A nearby ice-cream shop as well if that's what you fancy. All in all worth the short walk from the cathedral area.

Major tourist spot of Valencia. Very busy but a must to visit. Sheer size impressive. A great entry point into the old town.

Serranos Towers. In Spanish “Torres de Serranos“, are one of the twelve gates of the ancient walls that made up the city. Is a "must" go place to visit Valencia's downtown, you can get in and watch the Turia Garden from the top of the tower. I believe Sundays and Holidays you can go up for free. Around and passing through the tower, you will find a lot of restaurants and places to rent a bike.
