Clean quiet budget rooms very reasonable priced cafe the lounge is a Vancouver Icon very easy to get to downtown Vancouver or the bridge to North Vancouver. Close to all trendy restaurants on commercial drive. The neighbourhood is going through revitalizing.
The hotel is what you would expect for the price and the area is relatively close to downtown. Our first room was a disaster as it smelled like strong flavored cigars. That being said, we received prompt and genuine help in getting another room that was perfect. I would classify this hotel as budget friendly with good service, no thrills (not taking about the grocery store in front - no pun intended) but an all around good place to stay.
