A must see if you are in Tarnovo
A must see piece of Bulgarian history in Veliko Tarnovo and probably the only known burial site of a Bulgarian ruler.
Pay for the tour to see the other two churches as well, worth the price and time.
An important historical and spiritual place for the bulgarians.
Fantastic part of both medieval and modern Bulgarian history. Has a beautiful garden and is close to a picturesque arched bridge.
