Punta della Dogana is an art museum in one of Venice's old customs buildings, the Dogana da Mar. It also refers to the triangular area of Venice where the Grand Canal meets the Giudecca Canal, and its collection of buildings: Santa Maria della Salute, (hence the area is also known as Punta della Salute), the Patriarchal Seminary of Venice, and Dogana da Mar at the triangle's tip.
Punta della Dogana is located between the Grand and Giudecca Canals at the tip of an island in the Dorsoduro district. Adjacent to each other are the Dogana da Mar, Patriarchal Seminary, and Santa Maria della Salute. It is diagonal from the Piazza San Marco.

Museum is gorgeous! Excellent views of several landmarks. Current exhibit by Damien Hirst I have mixed feelings on. An odd mix of pop culture/modern art posing as artifacts found in a ship wreck; it is well imagined, but not always well executed. With the wealth of materials and a clearly massive monetary investment used in the creation of the exhibit, I expected greater quality and more visual interest.

Upscale local place, where Gondola drivers mix with tourists. Great cozy ambiance. Clean. Delicious food. What more could you want? Good lunch. The fish of the day with vegetables was fresh, Mediterranean, and delectable.

Wonderful place with great view of the heart of Venice. Light inside the building is incredible. A must see.
