There is a music box which plays classic music in its own order. You can visit a bunch of museums and exhibitions when it's a daylight. At night, you will be enjoying this place as it has a lot of small restaurants and lounge places across the square. Besides, it's opened 24/7. If you prefer to have some fun at night, you will find this place very useful, especially for outdoor relax. Most of places closed by 12 midnight in Vienna.

Take your pick from a number of museums here. We visited The Leopold Museum which is terrific for modern art. It was also lovely and cool on a very hot day! The outdoor space at the MQ has a lovely pool you can dip your toes in and was full of little kids paddling on the day we visited. Lots of places to eat and drink too so you could quite easily spend the whole day here.

What a great place. The vibe is amazing and you can feel the rich culture of the place surrounding it. Would visit again. Vienna is a place to be, big with a magnificent cultural and night life. I would go there anytime. The museums are very clean and well organized. The whole area is very informative.

It is a very nice place in Vienna, it has these seats where everyone can sit on and chill. You can visit different museums in this location. Good options for drinks but not for food. There is a very nice bookshop with a lot of options for architecture and arts. Easy to reach but can get busy on weekends or at night.

A modern museum pole just across the street from the classic ones. Beautifully conceived and managed with many shared spaces. I attended an exhibition named Wow of the Heidi Horten collection at the Leopold art. Simply astonishing. But also the other exhibitions on display were really enjoyable like the one of Egon Schiele. Honestly, most of the exhibitions were not very interesting and it was hard to keep a child's attention to physics and mechanics. But there are some nice interactive things like an orchestra were the kid may play a conductor and by waving a baton he influences the tempo of playing very well known pieces of music. It was a great fun and actually my kids loved this the most. There are also some games based on kinect (gestures recognition). Overall I would recommend visiting this place with kids.

It is very convenient to get here by tram and underground. There are museums, book shops, and restaurants. It is not a bad idea to just come here and spend time outside of the museums. If you have plenty of time you can choose to get inside one of them and it will take you about 3 hours to complete one.

A nice place to visit! Lot of culture packed in one place, from modern art to contemporary exhibition, fashion and dance/performance. You can also eat and drink at some nice bars or on benches with your own drink!
