A full immersion in an artistic turnout. Once one gets closer to this building, he/she realizes how special it is. The assembly of architectural elements provide a sense of freshness and convey the real feeling of the artistic trends of the beginning of the century. The art collection the museum contains is not vast but significant. Klimt's fresco is itself worth the ticket.

You are paying 9$ per adult to look at one Klimt painting and whatever contemporary art exhibition is on display. Worth if you are a fan of Klimt, as Beethoven Frieze is easily one of his best works. The brochure (available in various languages) walks you through the painting and its context, so be sure to pick it up as soon as you enter the room.

Lovely ...worth it just to see that Klimt decorations . Not much else to see as the crowning glory the outside is being renovated and covered in Scaffolding and plastic !

Gustav Klimt's afresco is really worth the visit and for sure is one of his best works, but the other expositions are not so good.

Great exhibition space. A Jugendstil building with changing exhibitions. The main room looks always different with every art show.

A nice architectural building from the turn of the 20th century. Here you pay entrance to enter and view a single masterpiece, Klimt's Beethoven frieze. It is the only artwork in the permanent exhibit here. While it is remarkable, it is a lot to pay for one major viewing and whatever temporary exhibition that might be taking place at the time of your visit. 10-15 minutes in the Secession building is all that is required. Bare this in mind before committing to going inside. Aside from the Beethoven frieze and maybe the glass roof in the exhibition hall which curiously casts an even light, most of the Secession Building's major features are on the outside. Its exterior is such a departure from the usual architecture in Vienna which makes it quite a memorable building.

Not worth the money. Complete waste of time. If you want to see Klimt many better places. Be content with seeing the outside of this building.

They were doing a complete facelift on this place so a lot of it's wow factor was covered up. The Gustaf Klimt art was amazing even though I thought the viewing would be from eye level.

Klimt's paintings on the walls are amazing! Can't wait to see the entire building after reconstruction.

Really upsetting. If you love modern "art" as in projections of helicopters then this is your dream. If you expected Klimt or anything non-modern then DO NOT GO. Go waste your money elsewhere, seriously its not worth it.
