This is one of the best museums I've ever been to! They have so much to look at, and you can easily spend 3-4 hours here. Admission is cheap. The best part are all the interactive exhibitions! Everywhere you go, there is something to try. How about pulling 1400kg of train with a rope? You can also try a wheelchair simulator. I'd definitely recommend paying this place a visit!

This museum houses some of the best technological stuff within and I'm not even sure how to they did it. Definition fantastic to bring kids since they even has 2 dedicated play area for them. Several categories of technology catered on different floors so you'll be sure to find something that of interest. We didn't even had time to walk around the entire place. Contrary to what one of the reviewers mentioned, there is a cafe within on the ground floor. Look for it on the map that they give you on entry. You can definitely spend one whole day here especially if you have kids.

A lot of interactive exhibits. I would recommend at least 4 hours to skim through what the museum has to offer. Recommend a visit

It is exciting place for those who addicts to mechanisms and tech savvy... High voltage room is a must to visit! Its located very close to the palace and parks to visit all places. Its worth to visit for the purpose and dont forget to take children with you.

Huge! And you really have a lot of interesting things to see. Great for children, with a lot of areas for them to play and explore.

A big museum that exceeded my expectations. It has a very good mix of both old and new technology and the exhibition is also (somewhat) interactive. Both young and old people will enjoy the museum.

It was the greatest experience. All the details about how things work and looking inside every mechanism is amazing. There are a lot of interactive games for understanding the physics. All the objects are in natural size which make them more impressive.

This place should be given more importance and advertised more. Being so near Schobrunn Palace is a drawback as people tend to miss this fantastic place. There is so much to see and do.We spent 4 hrs going round and trying things. I recommend visiting this place. We did not like the food at the restaurant though!

Lot to see. Very fun place. There is also two play area for kids to rest their eyes :) I expected more interactive eksponats.

This is a huge and interesting museum. Beware that it's huge, you will need a full day to cover it all. We spent a couple of hours just on one of the floors. The place lacks air conditioner, it's a bit hot if it's too hot outside. The exhibition reminds more a collection than and educative presentation, it can use a bit more interaction with the visitor. Overall it shows a great variety of everything, starting from little machines and up to trains and planes.

Probably the best museum I have ever visited, we were there for 4 hours and I'm sure we could have spent much longer. Nice selection of interactive points keeps kids (and adults) entertained. Very interesting displays. Nice selection at the gift shop. Only shame is the ÖBB simulator didn't work and I was really looking forward to it. Either way worth every penny!!

Awesome! The physics exposition is amazing. Classic experiments given in somehow fascinating way. The heavy industry, new tech or urban ideas are also interestingly presented. Highly recommended.

One of the coolest museums I've been to in the world. Well worth it, the price is reasonable and even though it's a little out of the way, it's not too far from some other attractions. You could easily make a day out of it, but you don't have to. I probably read like 10% of the stuff and still learned a ton.

Great experience for the whole family. Been there this December and it was an amazing experience. Great for families with kids, too. Full of practical information about different technologies and many things to try and experiment yourself. Nice and friendly staff, too.

A lot to see. Interesting exhibits for young and old. Area for under 5s where they can drive small carts, dress up as policemen and pilots and play in a plane and police car. Very entertaining for little ones.

The best museum in Vienna. Interesting and educational tour. But people, it is a tech paradox -in THE technical museum there is no audio guide. Museum audio guides are an amazing tech support in our days... why you don't have them???🤔

I could easily have spent two days or more going through this museum. Three hours got me through 1.5 floors. When next I'm in Vienna, this is high on my list of Must (re)visit.

I wouldn’t recommend going there on summer time - they do not use air conditioning at all. If you would like to take everything seriously that’s inside the museum - you would spend 1 week there :D It’s really huge, 5 floors full of everything. If you don’t have time - it’s not worth going there, expect to spend at least 3 hours.
