Beautiful city, plenty to see. Great food and drink. Amazing metro and bus service. Recommended to look at map and transport before visit. English travellers get a translation book before coming 😊

The middle of the Old Town is the centre of Warsaw with these beautiful terraced period buildings facing each other across the traditional cobbled square. In winter a real skating rink is constructed here and plenty of stalls selling mulled wine and other winter warming drinks. You can't miss this centrepiece of the city.

Great! Vibrant in the summer, in winter there's an outdoor ice rink and stalls selling mulled wine. Beautiful part of Warsaw.

Good looking market place - in the winter there is an ice rink and places selling hot wine and food, with an excellent atmosphere. In the summer it buzzes with people relaxing and going to nearby restaurants. Worth a wander through.

The staff are impressively knowledgeable and the selection of fragrances is impressive and very tightly curated. Entirely worth the visit if you care for fine fragrances.

Great sites, catch it early before it gets too busy. Thoroughly enjoyed wandering through the side streets and discovering hidden gems of architecture and design. Plenty of bars, coffee shops and souvenir shops. Great views over the football stadium and lovely local people.

It's not a big square compared to others in Poland. The buildings around look nice and colorful. There is a small mermaid fountain in the middle of square. Mainly shops in this square are souvenir and cafe. Be careful of pickpocket; one of my companion was stole from backpack at this square.

I am generally a fan of old towns in any city and this one in Warsaw did not disappoint me at all. One could even go alone by themselves as a solo traveler and still enjoy the moment and not feel bored. There are fair number of sights that can be seen and walking through the old Town does not tire you at all. The buildings are colorful and the architecture is so laid back. Every building offers you a different story. The designs are very interesting. The streets are narrow and cobble stoned. All of a sudden you when you walk down the street, you see a narrower perpendicular street and the views from these streets are amazing. There are churches which are beautiful in and out. The central square of the market looked beautiful despite the number of canopies or umbrellas that restaurants around it had installed. There is a beautiful mermaid in the center of the square and a couple of Lion Hand water pumps. There are a some small number of statues like one of a man throwing a boulder. You can find horse carts ferrying passengers. A palace also exists in the town. The whole area in terms of modernity is flocked by restaurants, mineral stones shops, souvenir shops etc. I encountered a lot of school children when I visited. I would suggest to visit on a weekday to have relaxed views. A lot of traditional polish food restaurants are available. The prices might not really burn a home in the pocket, but are still a little on the higher side when compared to the city. It is well connected by tram and bus. Trams and some buses stop at Stare Miasto, which is not far from Central station, though you might need to change. A lot of tourist guided walking tours and in many languages are available. However, you could even do it by yourself. By the way, this is UNESCO recognized. All in all, wear your walking shoes, take your phone/camera, shades and get going.

Sunset dinner is gorgeous. Food is all amazing on the square. Street performers have great music. Make a photo in front of the mermaid.

This a beautiful old square in the Old Town part of Warsaw. It is a great square for concerts, art exhibits, flea markets, and outside restaurants. The quaint, old buildings and the central mermaid statue with the old well is a great setting. It is like being transported back in time.

Very nice square. Many nice cafes and restaurants you will find some of them have traditional Polish food. Some painters are there with a very nice paints and reasonable price for each them. Buildings are very nice and very old and traditional European design and some of them has nice pants on it from ground to top. You should spend not less than 2 hours up to half a day.

A must see when visiting Warsaw. Lots of restaurants and shops. The old town has been completely rebuilt from ruins left after WW2. A great spot to sit outside with a beer and watch the tourists.
