Deltapark Neeltje Jans is a Dutch theme park located on the former artificial island Neeltje Jans at the Oosterschelde. In addition to the attractive nature of the Deltapark Neeltje Jans, it also plays an educational role with respect to the Delta Works.
Deltapark Neeltje Jans was created out of a public information center which, at the initiative of Rijkswaterstaat, was set up in 1986 during the construction of the Oosterschelde barrier in 1979 . During this period the center has been visited by hundreds of thousands from the Netherlands and abroad . During the construction of the Oosterschelde barrier the center was continuously expanded with information about the current state of the construction of the Oosterschelde barrier .
Disappointing. Very expensive and the flood and engineering displays were limited and dated. The immersive movie at the start was good. It gave a good sense of what it must have been like to be caught in such a flood. The aquarium was interesting but also very small. As an adult, I wasn't interested in the water park or playgrounds, I could have used more on the brilliant hydraulic engineering employed by the Dutch over the centuries.

What a rip-off! 20 Euro per person plus 7.50 Euro for the parking-lot and what do you get? Some movies about sea-life, a very disappointing "whale exhibition" consisting of some papier-mâché whales and an "aquarium" with a few completely under-sized fish-tanks. Oh yes: and a "hurrikane simulator" = a big ventilator. You might even get so "swim with sharks": you climb into a cage in a tiny swimming-pool with some cat sharks, but not before paying another another 55€ per person! I guess the best thing about this park is the water-fun-area for kids but even that is surely not worth the horrendous entry fees. Avoid if you can.

Really nice place, great view of the sea, excellent experiences inside the park and also a very nice way to Learn about Netherlands.

Nice expo on waterworks, liked the new 4d experience, storm simulator was not open yet. Overall very expensive.

Half of the attractions are broken. The deltaworks are intersting but appart from that it is nothing special, not worth the price (16eu).
