Beautiful place. Amazing tracks and paths for walking/running. So many different routes that no walk/run has to be the same. Ideal hub for anyone wishing to use the cycle path up to Yelverton/Tavistock.
Lovely woods inside Plymouth great for cycling in. Many parking places and on the weekends there's a coffee van. There are some waymarked national trust cycling trails which are of red grade, although short they're worth a visit along with finding some of cann woods trails to mix it up.
More of a dog walkers paradise but you can cycle and walk freely here. Although the scenery is lush in the summer, there is little to do. Geocaching maps had some caches in the area but most were missing and the lack of any real facilities or distractions meant only a short visit before boredom set in and the kids pleaded to go home.
It is a great place to walk your dog or have a bike ride. It is also nice place to have a swim as it has some quite deep waters. In the summer is an amazing place to watch the peregrine falcons nest and raise thier young. It is also a great place for finding and catching pokemon. The parking is free and it is right next to the bridge leading into the trail.
Beautiful walk through woodlands along disused railway, with added bonus of watching a pair of besting perigrin falcons.
Lovely place for walking our dogs. Lots of wildlife around too. Many paths and walkways to explore.
Wonderful place with so many places to walk and ride a bike. Long and short walks. Great for all ages.
Beautiful woods with lots of things to see. Lovely for walking cycling and picnics. Fantastic views but can get very crowded.
Stunning place to visit for woodland walks through Cann woods bursting with wildlife and often deer. Great cycling routes on the tarmac path red route up to Dartmoor and the skylark pub. Great off road cycling as well. I visit every weekly for dog walks, runs or extreme cycling with my adrenalin junkie nephew. It has something for everyone and is beautiful throughout he year with a vast array of woodland paths to exploit and all ages visiting it.
Really enjoyed a walk from clearbrook to plymbridge and Back took a little longer then I expected and the kids loved it
Great place to visit, free parking not far by car from Plymouth. Lovely river walk
Feel close and bask in the beauty of nature in its original state! A charming place to visit with the family and also good for a picnic.
Lovely place to take the dog just have to watch for cyclists. Lots of the history of the area still visible and a protected area for peregrine falcons in the old quarry.
Lovely place, good for, walking dogs, bike rides, jogging and children. It has many different nature routes and rivers, open area for children to play, picnic area,s, ice cream van and free parking
Lovely place for walking the dogs, bird spotting and taking the kids. Lots of history in the wood too!
Absolutely beautiful place to hike or bike, footpaths along the river as well as a tarmacked path along the disused railway line. Would have been five stars if not for the parking. If approaching from Plymouth, there is limited parking on that side of the river, with a reasonably lengthy detour around the river to the larger car park.
So many different places to walk and explore. Great for dog walking and great in the summer with many rivers and pools to cool down in. Just never go down after a rain strom or at all after rain it is extremely muddy and slippy. But there is also a very long and relaxing bike tail starting at the old train station and going all the way to Yelverton.
