Salutation au Soleil ou Salut au soleil est une œuvre d'art construite en 2008 située dans la ville de Zadar en Croatie. Elle consiste en un ensemble de panneaux de verre situé au sol, sous lequel sont situés des panneaux solaires et des jeux de lumières, le tout représentant le Soleil et les planètes du système solaire. Elle est créée par Nikola Bašić, qui a également conçu l'Orgue des mers, située à proximité.

Very nice atmosphere - the sunset there makes everyone relaxed, happy, playful, open. It is a place where many cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs are at peace together.

Amazing spot to look at the sunset. Lot of people come here to relax at the end of the afternoon and to listen to musician and water organs. It's a magical place to set down after a day visiting the town. Come here with your family, friends or even better, with your lover. In the center, you can see the solar panels and your reflection in it. In short, a stunning place worth coming at sunset.

Really unique and worth seeing at sunset, but there are so many tourists, families and kids that it ruined the vibe. It's not romantic or peaceful, it's busy and family-oriented. There were people selling light-up toys and it was very loud. Not a bad thing, but still good to know for solo travelers and couples. I recommend experiencing it on a weekday and possibly with your own music 😊
