I stayed in Hostel Centar for the entire week before my Croatian friend's wedding in Zagreb and honestly couldn't have had a better experience. I was looking for my own room with hostel prices and that is exactly what I found - comfort and affordability!! Not only that, but right in the center of the city. I felt comfortable walking around late at night alone, and the hospitality of the owners, especially Ines, (who was so wonderful and happy, she got me to consider starting my own hostel in NYC/BK!), made it so I had "friends"' at the hostel even though I was traveling solo. I couldn't recommend this place more highly... it was such a wonderful experience!!
A great location in the very center of the city, free cofee and tea, rooms clean and neat, staff kind, would recommend it to everyone :) :)
