As it's entirely free, there really is no reason not to go here. The animals seem to have big areas to roam and seem genuinly happy, there aren't too many people around, there's good roads to get everywhere, the forests are wild and natural. There's also a restaurant which is a tad little bit more expensive then regular restaurants, but that's fine as regular restaurants don't let you eat right next to some bear cups swimming in a lake ;)

Nice place to visit with young kids, the whole park is well maintained and really interesting to see. There are brown bears, goats, Murmeltiren, wolfs etc....

Awesome place. Been there twice within two weeks or so. -Free entry -Usable fireplace with firewood -Cute mouse house to go with children -You can come really close to wolves, at one point a few wolves were just a few meters away, (luckily there still was a huge fence in between) -Large variety of animals -Perfect for short or long walks -Nice place to take a date to and have a fun day The only thing that disappointed me was that we couldn't enter the wild boar enclosure without a guide, (which we didn't want to organise). But as this is not enough to take one star away, 5 Stars. Not bad Zurich!

Free entry but the parking lot is CHF 10. Smart people come by public transport. There are several fireplaces and the park rangers put some firewood and some sticks there, so you can grill a sausage (or marshmallows). Great fun with the little ones. Don't miss the animals further into the park like bear, wolves of moose

It's a nice place (free except a 10chf whole day parking cost) to bring little kids. Don't expect to see a lot of animals (this is not a zoo) but close encounters with bears are frequent. There are long winding paths, a restaurant and small playground and a merry-go-round. You can easily spend a morning or an afternoon here without getting bored.

Beautiful place for walk, observing animals. Lots of paths in the forest, nice restaurant, mouse house is loved by all kids. Two playgrounds with wide range of attractions. There is possibility to organize birthday party.
