Incredible chocolatiers for gluten free and diary free hand made chocolates. Professional and quick when asked about VEGAN 🌱 and GLUTEN FREE chocolates the customer service cashier immediately pointed to the 4 selections available and we tried one of each - we nearly melted into a puddle of heaven. NOTHING diary free had ever tasted so good - it was like the best Milkiest smoothest Expensive truffle but 100% VEGAN (it did have nuts) absolutely a MUST stop in Zurich - buy as much as you can carry!
The shop is huge and offers a great variety of Swiss chocolates as well as good service and advice. The cafe on the upper floor is huge as well, but still be prepared to wait up in a line at the entrance to be seated. The larger the group the longer the wait. The stuff is quick, no chitchats in view of a huge volume of visitors. You get a bill after your order was delivered and pay at the exit once you leave. Toilets available. No elevator to the upper floor where the cafe is.
Would give 3 1/2 stars. Their cakes are amazing, very delicious, but not cheap. They have many locations every where, but only this location(as far as I know) that you can sit down and enjoy coffee, tea, their famous hot chocolate and of course their cakes.
The chocolates are extremely tasty! We took 6 perlins for 2 persons. We recommend to eat the perlins in quite place, like a park near the shop. They also offer free tasting of macaroons for children.. nice.
It is a good atmosphere, there are a lot of rich people around there. The service is nice and everything is good. A little expensive and overrated in my opinion tho. There are definetly better places to get delicious sweets and treats then here. Sprüngli is by far not the best Switzerland has to offer.
Delicious chocolate and a really pleasant venue. The coffee I got on several occasions was burnt, hence the low rating -- you just can't serve bad coffee in a place like this. Quite pricey.
Very interesting selection of desserts and chocolates! Im not a fan of sugar but i always order their coffee with whipped cream. It is yummy! the salted caramel ice cream is also good but a tad bit eggy. The store is heaven for chocolate lovers.
Had the worst service in my life. Came to a half empty cafe with two of my relatives and the waitress did not let us sit at a table for 4 people even though the cafe washalf empty. Later a pair of two locals people arrived and they had no problem sitting at a table of 4. Even though the food was amazing, the terrible servce from the waitress ruined the impression of the experience.
